Dr. Austin Baker

Dr. Austin Baker was raised in Idaho Falls and is proud to serve the community he calls home. He graduated from Brigham Young University before completing his medical degree at the University of Texas in Fort Worth. He then pursued specialized training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery through his residency at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Baker is highly skilled in a wide range of advanced surgical procedures. His expertise includes cochlear implantation for hearing restoration and the Inspire® procedure for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. He excels in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, functional rhinoplasty, and comprehensive sinus surgery, with a strong focus on both form and function.

In addition, Dr. Baker has extensive experience in trauma surgery, including complex facial reconstruction, as well as pediatric otolaryngology. He routinely treats children with tonsil and ear conditions, providing compassionate, family-centered care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. He is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and combining technical excellence with thoughtful, individualized treatment.
