Dr. Terry Baker

Terry Baker, MD is a board-certified otolaryngologist who has proudly served the Idaho Falls community since 2000. He completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Baker went on to complete his residency training in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at the University of Missouri.


Dr. Baker currently serves as Chief of Surgery at Mountain View Hospital, a role that reflects both his clinical excellence and leadership within the medical community. He previously served as Chief of Surgery at Eastern Idaho Medical Center from 2004 to 2006. With advanced training in complex sinus surgery, Dr. Baker offers several specialized procedures that are typically available only at large academic medical centers. He also has a strong focus on the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disease, as well as comprehensive care for ear disorders.


Outside of the office, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children. One of his sons, Dr. Austin Baker, is also a physician and a fellow ENT specialist with ENT Specialists of Idaho, continuing the family tradition of compassionate, high-quality patient care. Above all, Dr. Baker is deeply committed to the service of his patients, combining state-of-the-art surgical expertise with compassionate, individualized care for every person he treats.
